The Bible teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, receiving His saving grace.  Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality that your sins have been washed away by the blood of Christ, our perfect Savior.

Baptism is a way of publicly showing that you have placed your trust for salvation in Christ alone and have been made new.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized. Just like a bride and groom show others their love for one another by wearing wedding bands, your baptism is your opportunity to show others that you have accepted Christ and are now walking with him.
